Summer Term

June 30 – July 31, 2026

Applications are open for Summer Term 2026! To apply, fill out the form located at the bottom of this page. Note: Our spaces for single women are full. There is still room for married couples and single men.

Every summer, Faith Builders operates a five-week term designed to prepare and equip teachers in K-12 settings.

Good teachers are always learning and growing, increasing their knowledge and skills as teachers while developing wisdom and character as persons. Summer Term provides an opportunity for teachers to invest in both dimensions of growth. Many teachers have found that the challenge and discipline of Summer Term courses have increased their effectiveness as teachers. Many schools are encouraging that investment by offering financial support to teachers attending Summer Term at Faith Builders.

Recommended courses for first-year teachers:

  • Principles of Teaching
  • Child Development

Recommended courses for more experienced teachers:

  • Foundations of Education
  • Teaching Diverse Learners
  • Classroom Assessment for Learning

Costs are based on the number of courses taken, room, meals, and various fees. Many schools invest in the development of their teachers by offering financial support to teachers attending Summer Term. Approximate cost for a single student living in the dorm is $2,825.
